The Freedom and Solidarity Forum aims to let leading decision-makers and the young generation learn from each other, inspired by the legacy of D-Day and the Marshall Plan.
June 6, 2014 will mark the 70th anniversary of D-Day and overlord operation on the beaches of Normandy. On this occasion, leaders and prominent figures representing the countries that fought in Normandy to restore Democratic values on the european continent will come together to commemorate this historic event.
Leading up to the official ceremonies, the American Chamber of Commerce in France and the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union are joining Caen and the Caen-Normandy Memorial to organize the Freedom and Solidarity Forum, to take place under the high patronage of François Hollande, President of the French Republic, on June 4 and 5, 2014 in Caen.
This high-level conference will bring together American, Canadian and European political leaders, as well as international business leaders, heads of international organizations, thought leaders and young talents.
